Enhanced Services

Enhanced Services are features that can be assigned on an extension by extension basis. Administrators can access each extensions Enhanced Services while editing an extension. The services are ordered from top to bottom with the higher service being the higher priority. For example, due to the similarity of ‘Follow Me’ and ‘Group Hunt’, if both are enabled, ‘Follow Me’ will be executed due to higher precedence.

Each service has two or more accessibility options:

Allow in OSC

Unavailable

Available

PIN Required

Edit

Administrators can allow a service to appear in the Self Care Portal by enabling Allow in OSC. This will give the extensions user permissions to enable or disable the service. Services can also be configured for the extension without giving access to the user by not enabling Allow in OSC. This is useful for services that need to be set and not changed by the user.

You can enable a specific service by selecting the Available icon for that particular service, then click save. If service requires additional settings an edit button will become available to the right of the service. Pressing edit button will open up a window with additional options for that specific service.

For services that need to be available but restricted to certain users, selecting the PIN Required icon will enables the feature. Services with this setting will require a PIN in order to use the service.
